Helping a population that lives according to ancestral ways is particularly difficult...
To avoid possible mistakes, no major operation should ever be undertaken without a carreful and mature consideration on how it will impact both the ecosystem and the social context of the people to whom the support is meant.

This being said, what can we do ?

Act on a long term basis,

to help them control their own future, and to get an identity and a social status integrated in the national system of their country. All that should happen without sacrificing their culture and their vision of the universe... without forcing them to lose their own social structure, their langage and beliefs, forcing them to leave their territory or to be invaded... without sacrificing in the name of "progress" this great joy to live which belongs to them.
